Our Christmas Service this year will be held in the Urquhart & Glenmoriston Church of Scotland in Drumnadrochit at 2pm on Thursday 20th December. All Welcome.

GUHS Senior Citizen Party

The school is holding a party for all the local senior citizens on Wednesday 12^th December at 1.30pm. Please come along and enjoy music, good food and presents!

GUHS Parent Information Night

As you will be aware any child who is currently in S3 or younger will be presented for our country's new National Qualifications.  All schools in Scotland have changed or are currently changing their curricular structures to meet this challenge and the challenge of improving our children’s’ education.  To inform you fully of Glen Urquhart High School's proposed curricular changes I am inviting all parents to a meeting, in the school theatre, on Tuesday 11^th December at 7.00pm.  If possible please attend this meeting so you can be fully informed about how these changes will affect, and I believe improve, your child's education.

GUHS Parent Council S3 to S6 Careers Event

At Glen Urquhart High School on TUESDAY 27th NOVEMBER at 7pm the Parent Council have organised a two hour event for S3 to S6 pupils and parents. The event will help pupils choose future pathways by giving them an insight into many different careers. A fantastic event not to be missed!

Supporting Children In Need

On Friday 16th November we had a dress up/down day and our school band "Trout" entertained us. Home baking was provided by our pupils and parents and sold at morning interval. The staff won a very competitive volleyball match against  the senior pupils. We raised £234.60 for Children In Need. Well done to everyone involved!
