GUHS PARENT COUNCIL AGM

The Parent Council Annual General Meeting will meet at school on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm. All Parents Welcome. The Parent Council plays an important role at GUHS and is very active. The members support the school in a wide range of activities throughout the year including School Shows, Dances, Outings, Fund Raising Events and our Leavers' formal end of term Dance. The Parent Council is always looking for additional members to lend their support.

GUHS Closing Ceremony and Leavers' Dance

At the end of this term we will be holding our Closing Ceremony at Urquhart and Glenmoriston Church of Scotland in Drumnadrochit on Wednesday 2nd July at 1.30pm. All parents are most welcome to attend this event. On the same day our annual leavers do, funded by our Parent Council, is being held at the Clansman Hotel. In the evening our Leavers' Dance, at the school, starts at 7.30pm and all pupils are invited to attend.

GUHS SHOWCASE EVENT

Our annual showcase of creative work will be in the school theatre on the evening of Monday 23rd June at 7.30pm. £2 for adults and £1 for concessions. This is always a popular event showing the Artwork, Music and Animation created and performed by our pupils over the last session with refreshments and a raffle during the interval. Please join us for a great night of entertainment and talent.

PUPIL OPTIONS NEXT YEAR

Pupils in S2, S3, S4 and S5 will, next week, start the process of choosing their subjects for next year. Please have the forms completed and returned to school by the dates shown on the forms. If you require any support and advice please contact your child's Guidance Teacher.
